i REALLY like wanderingbardtoys as a maker, first of all. this was my first forray into fantasy dicks because i am a simple autistic guy and i saw D&D themed dildos and then suddenly i had made a series of events cascading into an impulse custom purchase. didnt help that i had recently ripped my last dildo (dont worry the shame box will get reviews as i find time. theres a reason that durability rating is up there.)

ths is a custom pour - this was a full marble of black onyx? & pearl white with a splatter of blood red, with a suction cup base. yes i wanted the splatter to look like blood, and yes, it really does. its a fucking beautiful piece of art, frankly - WBT is so goddamn good at pours that sometimes i forget im buying sex toys and just kind of want to display them on my D&D shelf. it came with:

-a small cotton cloth bag to store it in
-a silicone d%10 in red and black (<3)
-a sticker of the mind flayer character this model represents, and
-a logo sticker!

the small of their bags basically just fits the included dick & a travel size of lube as an FYI. i ended up buying a large spare bag with my next order because i looooooove their branding and the canvasy texture of the cotton and i wanted a bigger bag to store all of my smaller bags of dicks in. anyways, haul over, review next:

mind flayer is the Top™ of my width range i can comfortably take as of time of review, and it has a twisty two-tentacles-twisted-into-one-dick texture making a completely straight shaft with a very sharply curved head tip. i consider MF a low texture toy (the very sharply hooked tip is most of it and it is fucking delightful) but it works well with the girth of the toy for me. the soft 00-30 firmness is a nice, squishy texture without being too squishy - it feels like those really soft gel insoles for sure.

i mean, like... this thing was worth the hype i built up in my head for it, okay? the hooked tip of the head feels incredible if you go fully out and in at a consistent pace, and even if you just do shorter thrusts, it tends to magnetize itself to whatever would feel the best to have it slam into because the hook catches on every-fucking-thing. jesus christ. this guy is what actually made me realize i prefer internal penetration and cum like 90x easier from it than tdick stimulation, which i understand is an extremely hot take as a trans dude, but you gotta give it to a fantasy cock that makes you rethink exactly how you jerk off: its doing its job!

for me, a trans dude who is 1: not a size king and 2: tight, this thing has some good stretch to it without being painful especially with lube. i think the bigger sizes get exponentially more intense from my dyscalculic understanding of numbers and drooling over the pour show videos that actually show a hand around them for reference, and i definitely could not go even a bit up to the small on this guy. imo, you can really feel the twisty texture of the main shaft of the toy with every thrust which, while low texture, feels really good as a solid, continuous sensory experience.

i would probably recommend using more lube than i do with this if you arent used to taking thicker shafts, though. this is definitely a dildo where its very easy for your eyes to be more ambitious than your hole; i almost ordered this in a small before i saw a custom pour showed off on their bsky, lmao! it has a very deceptive amount of girth especially if you arent great at processing numbers like me.

mind flayer also feels really good to frot against which isnt usually my style but again, theres a first time for everything. those twists and grooves are awesome.

while i am not going to go over cleaning in every review (look... they come with cleaning cards...) i will mention that the deep grooves in the twists definitely require like, a soft brush or cloth to gently get in there after use. i signed up for it but yknow. make sure youre thorough!

i would be scared to take this anally both due to inexperience (listen, the gods gave me a pussy as a bottom, i aint complaining personally) but also the base, while moderately flared, does give me a little bit of concern. i have the suction cup base and i havent even tested if it fits my husbands O-ring strap on yet and that already has me a little concerned it might have too small of a base to fit in that, so... ymmv.

i am including this if only because while i havent dipped my toes too deep into that pool of water yet, the base is NOTABLY smaller than the other one i have from WBT, so use some level of caution and thought. who knows it might be fine and i am simply intimidated by the girth being the same size as the base - wandering bard toys explicitly states this is flared, im just not used to flared bases seeming this tiny!

overall:

i dont last very long with this bad boy if im not intentionally going extremely slow! i love this guy. if you like low texture, hooked tips, and girth, this is a solid option.
