masc vocasynths in this economy. what have i done to deserve this treat. this song fucking slaps and i dont think i reviewed vanes previous song LOVE ME on here (good song, hit really close to home for me and i didnt feel like i could objectively review it) but i do very much like this song even more than LOVE ME. i am a sucker for: 1. demons, 2. transmasc demons, 3. fallen angel imagery, 4. greek mythology, 5. fucked up religious imagery and 6. lyrics with an undercurrent of Tinge of Violent Horny. this hits all of those. i really do like vanes sound a lot. speaking of which...

song about familial trauma with that overt transgender flavoring. no notes. relatable. stuck in my head. the part that made me put this on here is that the chorus sounds a LOT like the main riffs and melody of double lariat and as an oldhead vocaloid fan it really gave me an indescribable emotion tbh. no idea if it was intentional - im guessing vane might be a bit older than me, so theres a solid chance that theyre also from the old vocaloid era and thus intentional - but either way it made me deeply happy

ever heard in my fucking life? the pv for this song is sincerely amazing and full of highly nostalgic shit and im just like. holy shit. this is amazing. monochromenace should NOT be slept on as a producer, i think every straight release from them has blown me the fuck away?

FLAVOR FOLEY ft S2-MIKI -- human
this song really made me have every emotion at once because i actually hate miki, but the gradual over-roboticness tuning to humanlike tuning plus the lyrics REALLY impressed me. i am very excited for the next album and so far it seems like it might have a lot more hits than CARDIAC CONTRAPOINTS for me.......
dead bars -- regulars
recently i have come into a bunch of Local Punk Bands' Bandcamps so we are gonna be eating good, lads. dead bars has a sound i would classify as "rancid adjacent" and this album was a treat to listen to front to back! really fond of im a regular and you never left, they kind of occupy two radically different sides of the spectrum and they both rule. im excited to listen to more of their stuff!
